The “Ferienappartements Stralsund” are housed in a historic building on Henning-Mörder-Straße in Stralsund and are located in the heart of Stralsund’s historic old town, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The house was built in 1787 by the potter Johann Joachim Bahlke using half-timbered construction. Henning Mörder belonged to the Rügen-Pomeranian noble family Mörder (also Morder) and served as mayor of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund at the beginning of the 16th century. His family owned a farmstead near the old town—most likely in the area of today’s Henning-Mörder-Straße.
