Vacation Rental No. 2, Stralsund Vacation Apartments

The “Ferienappartements Stralsund” are housed in a historic building on Henning-Mörder-Straße in Stralsund and are located in the heart of Stralsund’s historic old town, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The house was built in 1787 by the potter Johann Joachim Bahlke using half-timbered construction. Henning Mörder belonged to the Rügen-Pomeranian noble family Mörder (also Morder) and served as mayor of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund at the beginning of the 16th century. His family owned a courtyard of their own near the old town—most likely in the area of today’s Henning-Mörder-Straße.
The vacation apartment has its own entrance and access to the inner courtyard and is located on the ground floor of the house. The apartment is situated in a very quiet location in the heart of Stralsund. It consists of a living room, a sleeping area with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, and an open kitchen area.

The Hanseatic city of Stralsund is situated at the heart of the region, nestled between the scenically stunning island of Rügen, the wild and romantic Fischland/Darss peninsula, and the island of Usedom, home to the imperial spas. Stralsund itself, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers a wealth of historical sights, ecclesiastical and secular buildings in the Brick Gothic style, the charm of a maritime and trading city, and the Ozeaneum, a maritime museum unique in Germany.
